Mission and Goals:

The Family Resource Center (FRC) is a part of the Hancock County School District. The mission of the FRC is to serve the children attending the Hancock County Early Learning Center and Elementary School and their families through direct assistance or make appropriate referrals to other community agencies or resources as needed. The goal of the FRC is to prepare children for school and assist parents as needed. The Family Resource Center may provide direct services or referrals for medical care, food assistance, clothing/shoes, hygiene items, and school supplies.

Referral to Community Agencies

The Family Resource Center can provide you and your family with referrals to various health care agencies, financial resources, and community organizations.

This year the Family Resource Center will be creating a Resource Directory to include the most up-to-date information on services such as day care, TennCare availability, medical care, mental health services, housing assistance, social services agencies, nutrition programs, juvenile services, substance abuse counseling and many other sources of information for Hancock County residents.

If you have a questions about where to obtain services, please call the Family Resource Center at (423) 733-1762.

Location:

The Family Resource Center is located at the Hancock County Early Learning Center. If you or someone in your family needs assistance, please call us at (423) 733-1762 or stop by the office.
