ACT

Testing Information

Would you like to start working on the ACT?  Go to academy.act.org and start today!

In the spring semester, all Juniors will participate in ACT testing at Hancock County High School. Attendance and participation are required.  No testing fee will be charged for this test administration. Also in the spring, 9th & 10th graders will take the Pre-ACT.

Seniors who would like to retake the ACT free of charge, may obtain a voucher from the guidance department.  This test is in the fall semester and will be administered at the High School.  All students must sign up online at www.actstudent.org

The ACT is also administered at a variety of schools and colleges in our area. The registration fee is approximately $68 (without writing) or $93 (with writing).  Ask a voucher from the guidance department if you plan on registering to retake the ACT at any other location.

Please visit www.actstudent.org for more information concerning ACT testing.

Free SAT vs. ACT Practice

This free, interactive, live online event lets students learn the differences between the SAT & ACT, then try sections from each test to see which is a better fit. Students will see their scores instantly and learn effective test strategies from our team of experts.

Pre-registration is required using the following link: http://www.kaptest.com/practicetestweekend
